The Electricity Sector Council’s Aboriginal Workforce Participation Initiative website has launched www.brightfutures.ca/aboriginal. In addition to career information for Aboriginal people, www.brightfutures.ca/aboriginal includes an HR toolkit for employers, complete with a cohesive attraction, recruitment and retention strategy based on research and best practices, two demonstration projects, documentation of best practices and the adaptation of HR tools targeted to industry needs. August 19, 2009 - Introduction to Telfer’s “Focus on India Program”.

Jas Kalra of Graybridge Malkam will be one of the presenters at the World Trade and Convention Centre in Halifax on August 19, 2009. This presentation is part of an introduction to Telfer’s “Focus on India Program”.

The Telfer Focus on India Program is a comprehensive program for business executives offered by the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa in conjunction with its partner organizations. It will be offered in Ottawa in November 2009 and is designed to provide practical business intelligence and guidance to Canadian firms as they prepare to tackle the opportunities and challenges in the Indian market. Each participant in the program will undertake a business plan analysis and report for his or her firm relative to the Indian market.
