You're Invited!

We learn to resolve conflict in the culture that we grow up in. So what do you do in a diverse workplace when conflict is sure to arise and everyone has a different way of approaching it? A lack of knowledge on how to effectively navigate through cultural differences can lead to misunderstanding, frustration, lost productivity and not meeting project goals. On the other hand, when properly handled, cultural diversity can lead to innovation, increased productivity and a positive impact to the bottom line.

In this interactive, session Dr. Judy Laws and Jas Kalra will present a framework for resolving conflicts in the multicultural workplace that will help participants:

  • Recognize when conflict is culturally based
  • Learn how conflict is determined and resolved across cultures
  • Learn how to resolve cultural conflict
  • Learn how to turn conflict into potential for innovation and increased productivity
  • Discover third party neutral skills, essential to resolve/mediate conflict
